ATHLETIC FORMS & POLICIES
LBHS ATHLETES OF THE MONTH & SPORTSMANSHIP AWARD FOR AUGUST
September 8, 2023
On behalf of the Lemon Bay High School Athletic Department, we would like to congratulate our August 2023 winners of Athlete of the Month and the Sportsmanship Award.
Football Sportsmanship Award: Peyton Mason, Senior. Peyton is a great leader by example. He is extremely unselfish, and a total team player. Works hard daily and is a leader of the defense. Peyton is also a top notch student.
ATHLETES OF THE MONTH:
Volleyball: Lillyann Abbott, SeniorLilly is a senior captain and the team’s setter and right side hitter. The team plays a 6-2 rotation, so Lilly can also hit right side and play all the way around. Something we didn’t use last year but saw her potential as a hitter and are taking advantage of it. Lilly is a 4-year varsity player and is involved in various school activities/clubs.
Football: Landon Spanninger, Senior.
Landon has rushed for 83 yards and 3 touchdowns in the first two games, to go along with 90 yards receiving and another touchdown. He has helped lead his team to an undefeated start to the season.
