LBHS ATHLETES OF THE MONTH & SPORTSMANSHIP AWARD FOR MARCH
April 9, 2024
On behalf of the Lemon Bay High School Athletic Department, we would like to congratulate our March 2024 winners of Athlete of the Month and the Sportsmanship Award.
SPORTSMANSHIP AWARD:
Boys Weightlifting Sportsmanship: Chase White, Junior
Chase is always upbeat at practice and treats his coaches and teammates with respect. He is helpful to his teammates including providing multiple athletes with a ride to school and home after practice. Chase has worked hard this season to achieve the goals he has set for himself and has gone a step further to put the team ahead of himself.
Sportsmanship Honorable Mention:
GIRLS TENNIS: Alaina Maday, Junior
ATHLETES OF THE MONTH:
Girls Wrestling: Ailee Briggs, Freshman
* State Champion (only gave up 1 point in 4 matches at the State Tournament).
* Final Record (40-1) only loss on year was to a Georgia State Champion.
Boys Wrestling: Jack Oliver, Junior
* State Runner-up
* Final Record (59-7)
