Coach Strickland is in his 18th year teaching and 11th year at Lemon Bay. He graduated from Richmond Hill High School, Richmond Hill, GA, in 2001, he then went on to LaGrange College to play baseball.  He transferred to and graduated from Armstrong Atlantic State University in 2005 with a degree in Middle Grades Education.  He immediately began teaching and coaching at Richmond Hill High School.  While at Richmond Hill he taught Physical Science and Earth Science.  He also served as the head softball coach, assistant baseball coach and assistant to the men's and women's basketball teams.  He is married to the former Ms. Jackie Walker, a Lemon Bay alum.  They now reside in Englewood  with their two daughters, Hannah and Ella.  Coach Strickland is currently the Fall sports assistant athletic director as well as an assistant coach for volleyball, girl's basketball, and softball He is also serves as the department head for math.
