I was born and raised in
Alaska and moved to Florida in 2010.
My educational background includes studying Tropical Marine Ecology in Australia on a study abroad trip, and an undergraduate degree in Environmental Studies (with a main focus in Environmental Education) from Florida Gulf Coast University.
I started out my education career in 2012 when I
was lucky enough to land a job at Mote Marine Laboratory teaching Marine Biology and Environmental Science.
In 2016 I officially became a high school science teacher, and I feel very fortunate to be able to teach here at Lemon Bay High School! I look forward to another great year, go Mantas!!
